First of all, it is important to know technically that traffic signals apply to almost all means of transport such as: bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trains and naturally feet (pedestrians). Traffic lights are operated and installed on public roads only by the competent traffic authority and are monitored to verify that their indications are respected, so any device that obstructs their visibility will be prohibited.
Through the detectors, it is possible to regulate traffic, such as the speed at which vehicles circulate, the daily occupational volume and the direction in which they are going, generating signals in response analyzed in thousandths of minutes and seconds from the central controller. Some depend on the weather, they are programmed to control circulation while others are only activated by traffic, that is, their detectors detect if there are a large number of vehicles or pedestrians waiting and emit the respective signal to decongest traffic.
